The Katega village in the Mubende District of Uganda is one of the most rural areas of the nation. While they face struggles of poverty like water scarcity, lack of medical provision, minimal health education, and poor educational resources, they make up in their inspirational essence of hope.

Our mission at GOODLYFE is to help youth succeed by providing them with the tools and resources they need to build a better future. We believe that every young person has the potential to achieve great things, and we are committed to helping them reach their goals. By partnering with Point One Vision and Hele Fitness to support Pumziko Africa, we are a collective unit supporting Ugandan youth do just this. This is not a hand out, but a coming beside the amazing Ugandan people to further benefit their community and we feel blessed to be involved.
How this Gym Works
The Uganda-Katega location stands as a community center for youth to gather in many aspects. The multi-functional space allows designated coaches there to host youth fitness classes using the GoodLyfe curriculum. Our partnership between all three organizations (Pumziko Africa, Point One Vision, and Hele Fitness) make it possible for youth to experience the love of Jesus in their lives through community, fitness, fun, and love while gaining important tools that help us all navigate life whether here or abroad. This is fitness for a greater good.
